Policies

We require 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations. To book an appointment, we require a credit card on file to secure your spot. A text message and email will be sent 48 hours prior to the appointment to confirm, and another reminder will be sent 24 hours before as a final courtesy.

Guests that will be arriving more than 10 minutes late to their scheduled appointment time may need to have their services altered, shortened, or possibly rescheduled so that their stylist may remain on time for their next guest.

If you are unable to attend an appointment or if there are any questions, please contact us via phone, voicemail, email, or social media. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be waived the first time; any further last-minute cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.

All no-call/no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
A no-call/no-show automatically removes eligibility for the one-time waived late-cancellation allowance. Future cancellations within 24 hours will be subject to the standard 50% fee.

Thank you for understanding and for helping us keep our schedules running smoothly for all guests and stylists. Last minute cancellations or no shows result in a huge loss for our team and growing business. Your appointment is extremely important to us, thank you for choosing Salon 592!

A corrective color is any artificial color that requires drastic change. This could include going from darker to lighter or vice versa, removing at home (box dye) hair color, or fixing/repairing an undesired hair color. All of our corrective colors require a complimentary 15 minute consultation prior to making an appointment.

Corrective color appointments may require a 50% deposit of the estimated service cost, and priced at an hourly rate. Most color corrections and extreme blonding services start at $110 per hour depending on your stylist and techniques required.

Most corrective color and extreme blonding services require at least two separate appointments, depending on the intensity of change and/or integrity of the hair. Please plan accordingly, as it likely will take 2-7 hours of your time each session. Our main priority at Salon 592 is to ensure you keep the hair on your head, and that can take time! We do provide beverages and snacks for your convenience.

A client waiver form will be required before performing any corrective color or extreme blonding service. This form will lay out in detail all information and risks, a general price quote, and the consent of the client. We will inform you of the waiver form contents on the day of your consultation, and present it on the day of your first session to be signed and kept for our records. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

All color, corrective color, blonding, and chemical services are guaranteed by our salon only when using quality professional shampoos, conditioners, and styling products at home that are recommended by your stylist. Professional colors and chemicals are no match for harsher over the counter cleansers! Each time you wash your hair, or take a dip in pools, lakes, oceans, and bodies of water in general, your professional color and chemicals are sadly fading away. All artificial colors fade warm, regardless if you leave the salon with a cool blonde or a cool brunette. A conditioning cool toned glaze is recommended every 4 weeks if you prefer to keep that cool tone for as long as possible.

We require to be contacted within 1 week from your last appointment about any issues with your service. You’ll be booked ASAP with the stylist that worked on your hair. Service adjustments occur when the clients hair needs a bit of tweaking to better align with their previously discussed vision – they do not occur when the client has changed their mind after leaving the salon. We do not issue refunds, with the exception of extreme circumstances. We are incredibly grateful that adjustments are very rare for our salon, however we will always do what we can to make sure each client is happy!

If you are having any type of color or chemical service, we ask that you please wear a top that you will not mind if any accidental staining occurs. We always properly cape and towel each guest, however an occasional stain can be a potential risk. We are not responsible for any stained or damaged clothing.
